Our story

At bedtime, I read my young daughter a lot of fairytale books and, as with all good fairytale narratives, this story begins with a young person full of ambition, dreams and aspirations. Not a young maiden, amnesic princess or captive damsel but a brown-haired, glasses impaired, young branding designer called Dave. Now, in his minds-eye, Dave had visions of designing brands and building websites that really impact the business landscape. But, as we all know, every good fairytale needs some kind of tragedy, where values and aspirations are challenged and heroes are formed.

Bleary-eyed and generally uninspired, many years ago our fairytale character found himself working for yet another soulless marketing agency, churning out drudgery that didn't really change businesses for the sake of making money quickly and building a vast portfolio empire for his evil dastardly boss. As he disappointed yet another client, Dave asked himself the question, “Does any of my hard work really make any difference? Does it matter?” Sadly, no matter how much he tried to justify it, the nagging answer at the back of his mind was 'No'.

Shortly after this revelation, 6a creative became Dave's opportunity to redefine the values of the marketing agency for himself, creating a model that really benefits its clients and changes businesses for the better. Now, after slowly building the agency, Dave, along with his trusty team at 6a creative, is starting to see real changes in the way businesses are communicating with their customers as a result of our hard work. So, the only narrative missing in this fairytale story is a beautiful lady but that's another story for another website.
